Events & Campaigns
Cornerstone runs several campaigns, and hosts various events each year to engage with neighbours, friends, and the community at large to raise vital funds in support of our programs and services. A great way to show your support for Cornerstone is to participate in these campaigns and events.
Walk A Mile: Walk A Mile is a signature Cornerstone event that typically takes place in September that raises funds and awareness to end violence against women.
Women’s Day: At Cornerstone we celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD) by hosting a Luncheon in May.
Wrapped in Courage: Throughout the month of November Cornerstone sells purple scarves and other products to raise funds and awareness for Woman Abuse Prevention Month.
Gift of Giving: Over the holiday season the community is invited and encouraged to participate in a collection of tangible goods to help provide for the women and children at Cornerstone.
Holiday Campaign: A direct mail campaign that features survivors stories. The community is invited to provide their financial support to help other women and children impacted by violence.
