Walk A Mile In Her Shoes
Saturday, Sept. 28th, 2019
We invite you to join us Saturday, September 28th, 2019 as Cornerstone Family Violence Prevention Centre calls upon all the good men and women of Northumberland County to take to the streets as a part of our 12th Annual Walk A Mile In Her Shoes® event.
Walk A Mile In Her Shoes® is an international men’s march to stop gender violence; it’s a fun opportunity for men to educate the community about a very serious subject and to rally the community to take action to prevent family violence.
We hope you will help us bring the community to their feet as we march down King St. raising eyebrows and awareness to support and prevent family violence.
Exciting Addition! Brighton, Ontario will be hosting a Walk a Mile In Her Shoes event through AppleFest on Sunday Sept. 29th, 2019. For more information on the Brighton walk please contact Janelle at firstname.lastname@example.org

WALK ATTIRE & T-SHIRTS
Cornerstone offers all participants a commemorative t-shirt to wear during the walk and to keep as a memento of your bravery for rocking red shoes in support of Cornerstone.
If you are participating with your organization, company or service club etc. you are welcome to wear your uniform or attire of your choice to highlight said organization, company or service club.
We encourage all participants to dress for the weather.
Together, we can create a safe place where hope can take root and grow… one step at a time.
