Shelter
Our shelter provides a safe home-away-from-home feeling while women and families plan for their next steps. Skilled staff are available 24-hours a day to ensure women have the comforts of home they need, as well as counselling, housing supports, and information and connections to local resources.

Counselling
Residential Counsellors are available 24-hours a day to provide support, guidance, resources, and referrals.
Transitional Housing Support
The Transitional Housing Support program provides individuals with risk assessments, safety planning, case management, referrals to community resources, as well as providing ongoing support after discharge from the residential shelter program. Residential clients also receive support in finding and successfully maintaining appropriate housing. The program also facilitates the development of seamless support services, connecting individuals and families to community resources to obtain and retain affordable housing that is linked to supports appropriate to their needs.
Family & Child Support
Cornerstone’s staff are available to support families while in shelter and work with them to meet their individual needs. Creative and fun child and youth programming is provided, as well as childcare needs.
Family Court Support
Our family court support program provides emotional support, legal information, appropriate referrals and safety planning to client’s who have experienced domestic violence and are involved (or looking to get involved) in the family court process.
