Episode 0 BONUS TEASER – Dealing with the Holidays

Exploration of the stressors related to the holiday season. This included the many changes we are facing during the pandemic and how to manage during this time.

Christina and Lee-Ann delve into what you can expect when accessing Cornerstone Family Violence Prevention Centre’s services. They explore the types of services available as well as what to expect when accessing counselling.

Christina and Lee-Ann take an opportunity to talk further in the work that they do in relation to domestic violence. They discuss the components of abuse and domestic violence utilizing the Duluth Model of Power and Control.

Christina and Lee-Ann explore core beliefs and how these beliefs can influence our perception of ourselves, other people, and the world around us.

Episode 8 – Supporting Someone who is Not Okay

Christina and Lee-Ann discuss what it means to be supportive towards someone who is not okay. They provide suggestions on how to be present for our loved ones who are experiencing unique struggles in their day to day lives.

Episode 9 – The Importance of Language

Christina and Lee-Ann examine ways in which what we say and how we say things influence the way we perceive things. They explore ways to cultivate a healthier narrative by being mindful of the language we use to describe ourselves and the world around us.
