COVID UPDATE
We remain open and committed to helping end family violence.
Cornerstone continues to adhere to COVID-19 safety protocols to remain open and available through the new measures coming into effect Wednesday, January 5, 2022. With increased infection prevention measures in place, and virtual capabilities, the vital programming and services offered will remain available to community members impacted by family violence and abuse.
Cornerstone’s supports are available in person, over the phone, or through digital support methods like video chat. A face covering is required on the premises, and all those who enter the building will be screened. The front door will be locked, but those seeking support can still come in for service by ringing the bell and speaking with staff through the intercom. Those seeking support are encouraged to call ahead to make service arrangements if possible. If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms we kindly ask you stay home, reschedule your appointment, and access our virtual supports.
If you, or someone you know, are in need of support, please contact Cornerstone over the phone on our 24-hour support line at 905-372-0746 to speak with a trained counselling professional, or connect via web-chat or text between 6pm and 6am through Cornerstone Connect at cornerstonenorthumberland.ca/connect or 289-210-4774.
